We didn't know until we arrived whether we would be taking off on the water or on the ground. Some advanced information would have been good. But it didn't matter, we had a wonderful flight. The wind was gusting to 30mph by the time the third person in our group was up to fly. The instructors took their time and made sure it was safe and after waiting for the wind to calm down we all got a great flight. The staff was very friendly and made us feel at home. If you want to try hanggliding, this is the perfect place to try it.
